PC: Wargaming Game Center (recommended)

Change language in the launcher

1. Close the game (if it’s running).
2. Open Wargaming Game Center.
3. Click the gear icon (Settings).
4. Find Language and pick your preferred option from the dropdown.
5. Click Apply/Save. If asked, allow the launcher to download the language pack.
6. Start the game (or restart it) to apply changes.

PC: If your client has an in-game language option

Some builds/regions expose language selection inside the client UI. If you see it, you can try:

1. Launch the game and log in.
2. Open Settings (gear icon) from the main menu.
3. Look under General/Gameplay for Language.
4. Select the language and restart the game.

PC: Steam version

If you installed World of Tanks via Steam, language is typically managed by Steam:

1. Open Steam → Library.
2. Right-click World of Tanks → Properties.
3. Open the Language tab and select the desired language.
4. Let Steam download any required files, then launch the game.

Interface language vs. voiceover

Players often mean different things by “language.” Make sure you’re changing the right one:

• Interface language: menus, UI text, tooltips (usually set in the launcher or Steam).
• Voiceover / crew voices: spoken lines and announcer (may depend on client options and downloaded audio packs).

If your text is correct but audio remains in another language, check whether additional audio/voice packs are available for your client, then restart the game after installing them.

Troubleshooting

• Language option is missing: update your launcher/client to the latest version. On PC, try changing the language in Wargaming Game Center (not in-game).
• New language doesn’t apply after restart: fully exit the game and launcher, then reopen the launcher and apply the language again. If available, run a Repair / Check and Repair from the launcher.
• Garbled characters / squares: re-download the language pack, then verify files (Repair). Also check whether mods are installed—disable them temporarily and test again.
• Text changed but audio didn’t: look for a separate voiceover/audio option and download any missing audio packs. Restart after changes.

Consoles & Mobile (Blitz)

• Consoles: language is usually taken from your console’s system settings. Change the console language, then restart the game.
• World of Tanks Blitz: open the main menu → Settings → Language (General). Select the language and restart the app.
